Utah State Adds Online Master’s In HR –

Utah State University has announced it will be adding a master’s in human resources degree online, which will be offered through the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business.

USU will team with Academic Partnerships to offer online students the new Master of Science in Human Resources. The program will consist of 12, seven-week courses which can be completed in a year.

“Utah State University has offered distance education for more than 25 years,” Douglas D. Anderson, dean of USU’s business school, said in a press release. “By first utilizing a broadcast network and now through online platforms, USU is meeting the needs of Utah’s students who are unable to attend an on-campus program. With the rapid advances in online instruction, we are now able to extend our reach even further to offer our MSHR degree to more students throughout Utah and beyond.”

Graduates will gain skills in talent management and recruitment, employee and organization development, reward systems and performance management, employee training and learning, and strategic leadership skills.

USU is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business’s programs in business and accounting are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
