William Peace U Implements Tuition Freeze –

William Peace University (WPU), a private, four-year college based in Raleigh, N.C., has announced a tuition freeze for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Effective fall 2013, tuition will be locked in at $23,700 for 2013-2014, which is the same cost as the 2012-2013 academic year.

According to a press release from the school, WPU’s Board of Trustees credited the implementation of cost-saving programs, such as the Rainwater Harvesting System Clean Water Management Trust Fund Grant Project and reduction of the cost of the university’s annual view book, for making the tuition freeze possible.

WPU is not the only school attempting to keep tuition costs at bay. In October, the University of Phoenix announced a tuition freeze, and in November, Harrison College announced it would cut tuition on some of its programs by 10%.

William Peace University offers students online degree options, including a bachelor’s degree in business administration. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
