PSU Launches New Online Business Degree –

Portland State University (PSU) has announced the launch of a new online undergraduate business degree, beginning fall 2013.

Offered through PSU’s School of Business Administration, the degree will have a focus on management and leadership. The new online offering, which is replacing the weekend program, was created to better meet the needs of students.

Students will take coursework which includes upper-level classes in management. The online classes will feature video chats with professors and class discussions using Google+ Hangouts.

The program is 18 courses and spread out over three years. Students are expected to take two courses in the fall, winter and spring terms and complete internships in the summer. Interested students must have completed two years of college or earned an associate degree before applying to the program.

Portland State University offers more than 60 undergraduate and 40 graduate programs in various fields of study, and PSU’s Center for Online Learning offers primarily graduate studies. PSU is regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
