Hudson Valley Comm. College Adds Degree –

Hudson Valley Community College has announced the addition of an online associate degree in entrepreneurship.

Students will have the opportunity to pursue the 64-credit Associate in Applied Science in Entrepreneurship, beginning spring 2013.

The degree program is designed for students who are interested in starting their own business or small business owners who want to expand their operations. Curriculum will include courses in entrepreneurial finance, the entrepreneurial mindset, small business management, legal issues for small business owners, and marketing. Students will also develop their own business plan and participate in an internship to understand entrepreneurship first-hand.

The college is currently enrolling for the spring semester, which begins Jan. 22, 2013.

HVCC offers more than 70 degree and certificate programs in various fields. The college is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
