Columbia Launches New Online Degree –

Columbia Business School recently announced it will begin offering an online executive education program.

In partnership with the Institute for Personal Leadership, the program will be able to offer executive education in an online format to a wider community of business professionals.

The first program to be offered, titled Personal Leadership Online, includes curriculum which will provide the insight and tools necessary for students to be proficient in effective leadership and building strong relationships.

The program runs from 10 to 12 weeks, and guides students through two to three modules—30-minute videos—of core lecture content per week. Additionally, students can engage with faculty and other students through live sessions and other online formats.

“As Columbia Business School’s first venture into online executive education, we created this program and online format to substantially extend the reach of executive education programs within organizations and communities worldwide,” professor and Columbia Business School’s director of e-learning, Hitendra Wadhwa, said in a press release. “Our online platform delivers an experience never before seen in online learning in a way that keeps participants interested and engaged.”

Columbia Business School is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
