Penn State: Online Sustainability Degree –

As more people become concerned with preserving the Earth’s natural resources, knowledge of energy and sustainability becomes a necessary asset. Many have begun to take advantage of the increasing number of schools offering degrees in this field.

Penn State’s World Campus offers students a Bachelor of Arts in Energy and Sustainability Policy entirely online.

This 121-credit degree completion program is designed for students who have already earned an associate degree or have completed the first two years of a bachelor’s degree. The cost for classes ranges from $504 to $541 per credit.

Students will take course work which includes energy conservation, understanding global warming, and sustainable energy entrepreneurship. The curriculum was designed to help students achieve five objectives: energy industry knowledge, a sustainability ethic, analytical skills, communication skills, and a global perspective.

Penn State’s Bachelor of Arts in Energy and Sustainability Policy is an award-winning degree program, recognized by the Sloan Consortium as an “Outstanding Online Program for 2012.”

Penn State is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
