Bryant And Stratton Mobile App Launched –

In an effort to embrace the increasingly mobile business world, Bryant & Stratton College will begin offering new associate degrees in information technology with a focus on mobile applications development this fall.

This new program will prepare students interested in an online IT degree to write programs for mobile applications for use on contemporary mobile devices. Students will graduate from this program equipped with the necessary skills to land entry-level positions in various business fields, or with software development companies and corporate training development organizations.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment of software developers is expected to grow 30% by the year 2020.

This fall, Bryant & Stratton also plans on launching a Technology Careers Scholarship for students currently enrolled in one of the school’s technology focused online degree programs, including Office Information Technology. Part-time scholarship recipients will be awarded up to $500 and full-time recipients will be awarded up to $1,000 for one semester.
