Rasmussen College Plans Expansion for 2013

Rasmussen College has announced its plans for expansion by opening up two new campuses in Kansas, which will begin offering classes in spring 2013.

Rasmussen students have the option of pursuing more than 80 programs at the certificate, associate, and bachelor’s level – both on-campus and online.

The expansion will allow more working adults the opportunity to earn their bachelor’s degree through Rasmussen’s AcceleratED Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program. Designed for students with previous college credit, AcceleratED is formatted into six-week courses offered fully online. Students are able to earn their bachelor’s degree in as few as 18 months.

Through the AcceleratED program, students have the option of the following degrees:

  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • Entrepreneurship
  • International Business
  • Business Systems Analysis
  • Human Resources and Organizational Leadership
  • Criminal Justice Leadership and Management specialization

“Our AcceleratED program has already helped many students save time in completing their degree while maintaining a healthy work-life balance, which is so important for today’s busy professionals,” Rasmussen president Kristi Waite said in a press release. “We are proud to be able to offer this great academic solution to the Kansas residents.”

Rasmussen is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and currently enrolls more than 14,000 students nationwide.
