Money Hunt: Ohio Townships Scholarships
High school seniors living in Ohio townships planning to attend two- or four-year colleges or universities in fall 2013 are eligible to apply for three scholarships, worth $1,500 each. Students must pursue their degree at a school in Ohio.
The scholarships – two awarded for local government achievement and one awarded for academic achievement – are given through the Ohio Township Association’s scholarship program. The local government achievement scholarships require that a student demonstrate outstanding citizenship through service and community activities, while the academic achievement scholarship requires a student to have a B average and a score of at least 22 (ACT) or 1000 (SAT).
The application deadline is Jan. 28, 2013.
