Partnerships Speed Up Financial Aid Process – OnlineBusinessDegree.org
Global Financial Aid Services, a company that provides technology-based financial aid administration to colleges and universities, announced its partnership with Collegiate Admissions & Retention Solutions (CARS) to help facilitate the financial aid process for students.
CARS will provide contact center support for GlobalCORE, a system that provides paperless document collection and file review services for the federally standard financial aid verification and resolution process.
The purpose of the support–which will come in the form of financial aid help desk services and admissions and retention management–is to enable students to move to the next stage of the financial aid process quicker and more efficiently, according to the company. The contact center support will help with inbound student questions and outbound contacts for timely processing.
Global Financial Aid Services CEO Jimmy Addison said the partnership will lead to better completion rates for students and add a web-based interface for escalated resolution of students’ issues.
