UT Permian Basin to Launch Online Business Degree Program
The University of Texas Permian Basin, with the assistance of its new partner Academic Partnerships, announced the addition an online Bachelor of Business Administration, as well as six other online degree programs in various disciplines for fall 2012.
UT-Permian Basin is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelors and masters degrees. In addition, individual programs are also accredited by national accrediting agencies in their specific fields. The business school is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. Every course within this degree is developed based upon the nationally recognized Quality Matters (QM) Rubric for quality online instruction.
Online business degree programs have emerged as the most rapidly developing trend in higher education with universities quickly converting traditional programs into an online format. Dallas-based, Academic Partnerships provides market research and analysis, curriculum conversion, faculty support services, marketing, and information technology for selected UT Permian Basin online business degree programs.
Other degrees that will soon be available from UT-Permian Basin include: Master of Arts in Bilingual/ESL, Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, Master of Arts in Special Education, Bachelor of Arts in Communication, the Bachelor of Arts Sociology and the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
The application deadline is Oct. 3 for the term starting Oct. 24. The application deadline for the Jan. 9 term is Dec. 12. For more information about UT-Permian Basin, visit the school’s website.
